Completing a BTEC National diploma in 1 year instead of 2?

I have spent a year at university already, but had a change of heart and now ive decided to pursue textiles/fashion. I already have 3 A-levels, but i dont not have an alevel or btec in textiles/fashion. I want to get it out of the was as quickly as possible so i can go back to university. Is there anyway that btec can be completed in a year?

The main issue would be that of timetabling because year one and two classes might clash.

If you want to do textiles at university there may be other routes into it such as applying for uni straight away or doing a foundation course, especially if you already have A levels behind you.
