I sprained my hand and it takes longer to write. Am I entitled to extra time?

Hi,

It takes about 30% longer to write with my hand. I really don't want to use a processor. Would I be eligible?

Hi,

I know a girl at school who broke her wrist so got a doctors note and she doesnt get extra time. But the school did allow her to do her exams in a separate room and she can take a break when her wrist starts to hurt. The teacher would record the time then she can start when she is ready. At the end the time that she took stopping is added on. Maybe your situation is a bit different. Talk to your teacher at school or exams office

You should be able to word process your exams. Contact your exam boards asap, enforcing that it's purely for the physical input of writing - and no access to spellcheck ect. will be given.
