AS physics - calculate the carrier drift speed
A semiconducting strip, 6mm wide and 0.5mm thick, carries a current of 8mA. The carrier density is 7x10^-23 m^-3. Calculate the carrier drift speed.
Can someone please help me. When I do it I get the answer 2.38x10^44.
The actual answer is meant to be 24x10^-3
