The great gatsby

Choose a novel in which there is a character that is flawed but remains admirable ? How would u structure an essay for this question?
in answer to your question about the great gatsby.

first you could talk about his living conditions growing up and how he hated his situation and strived for a better life. then you could talk about how his perseverance and hard work got him what he wanted in life even if it was for such a short time{ this would be the admirable quality, the hard work and perseverance} but also talk about how he had to become involved in bootlegging to achieve this goal{ this would be the flaw in his personality, the bootlegging and lying}

first you could talk about his past while he was growing up and how he despised being poor and longed to get out. Then you could talk about how his perseverance and hard work got him what he wanted and how this was admirable. but then go on to say how he got it through bootlegging and say how this was one of the major flaws in his personality.

People who need help on the Great Gatsby now will still read these threads regardless of how old they are, it's all still relevant, and it's a helpful source- chill out!
