What CAN'T you do with a physics degree?

Hello,

Everyone says that the world is your oyster with a physics degree, but i'm wondering, what can't you do with one.

I love physics, but I also love geology. Up until now I haven't been sure what it was that I wanted to do after uni. I love being outdoors so i'm thinking I would be better suited to a career in geology.
Geophysics is also an option!

Can anyone give me any non academic careers (possibly geology related) that can come from having a physics degree?

If it helps, I wouldn't like to be based in one location for the duration of my career.

Thank you

Joel

Not really, sorry. Nothing that you couldn't get with another degree title.

I cant help with geology specific careers I'm afraid, but in general terms here is the difference -
If you have a degree in geology, people will just assume you're clever and it will open doors for you, whereas if you have a physics degree people will assume you're even cleverer and open even more doors for you.

If you love both, UCL run a geophysics degree.
