Can Freshers of a particular uni attend fresher-events of another uni?

Can Freshers of a particular uni attend fresher-events of another uni?

For example, if my mate is at UCL can he attend the fresher events of another uni like Birbeck, Royal Holloway or even Central Saint Martins etc?

I'm referring specifically to club nights. I'm assuming all one needs is a valid student ID.
Most Universities will allow you to sign guests in prior to the doors opening. I am positive Royal Holloway and Birbeck both use this system, however, i'm not sure about Central St. Martins as I am not familiar with their SU
