Farnborough Hill is a secondary school, so has students aged from 11 to 18. It is a private, fee paying, catholic, all girls school and has roughly 500 students with maybe 100-150 in the Sixth Form.
Sixth Form College Farnborough is completely different! This is a state school and has roughly 3000 students in just two years - Year 12 and Year 13. It is completely focused on sixth form and has a wide range of subjects available to study.
It seems strange that you would be looking at the two as they are completely different! Farnborough Hill is all girls, will have small class sizes and high quality teaching and great facilities as it is private - it is surrounded by acres of land and is really picturesque and beautiful. Has a swimming pool, tennis courts, etc. While the Sixth Form College Farnborough will have large class sizes but still good teaching! The facilities are great if you are arty or into drama, however it is situated in the middle of loads of houses so there aren't many sporting facilities and you really just go there to learn as opposed to the experience you would get at Farnborough Hill where you would be more involved in school life and extra curriculars. However both are good schools in their own right and I know people who go to both, some love it, some hate it, it really depends on the person. To survive at Farnborough Sixth Form College you need to be outgoing as there are so many people, if you are shy, you will be lost.
Hope this helps!
