Accomidation regarding living in London next term

Hello,
I'll be going to London to study the UCFB course in Wembley and their accommodation for a really small room costs 205GBP a week and that's the one I'll be getting unless I find alternatives.
I don't know much about London so I don't really know what areas to get to or what to search for when looking for a place to live in, if you guys can help me out with some advice and to find cheap places near the university that would be great.

Any luck? I'm also looking at Victoria Halls but £205 per week is a bit steep! Are other halls available?
