Revising months before a course

Well I'm starting a course in accounting in September and have taught myself a lot by self revising. I know it's months ahead but what started me being interested in what it involves has become me reading a chapter a night and I'm now almost completed a text book. Is this good for my chances of passing the course? My only worry is if I stop then I will forget what I learnt before the course starts. It's a course in accounting aat level 2 so shouldn't be too hard but i started with no previous knowledge
You're never going to do any harm by learning something or becoming familiar with it in advance. Even if you do forget some of what you've learnt thus far, you'll be familiar with it all when the course starts which is only a good thing. I study accounting and finance at university and will be spending much of my summer revising previous courses and preparing for future courses by doing extra reading. It won't do you any harm .
