Applying for accommodation at insurance choice

Hi

My insurance is Edinburgh. How much thought do I need to put into applying for accommodation? Is it a case of just getting the room you're given as it's an insurance choice?

If you have a look here on the website: http://www.accom.ed.ac.uk/new-and-prospective-students/undergraduates/ you will see that insurance students are not guarenteed a room in halls, this means that you might have to find a private room to live in should you go there

Mm, yeah I saw that :s-smilie:, but then it says that insurance applicants should still apply for accommodation in the guide?
