Seeing as I'll have a degree in Geog, I've thought about specialising in this area after my CPE. I don't know much about it though  What sort of things would an environmental lawyer do? Is there much call for it?

At a recent work experience that I did at a top-end law firm, although I didn't really get to see the kind of work that a environmental lawyer did, there did seem a lot of work for them to be getting on with all the time- it seemed quite interesting (but thats my point of view with my face pressed up against the window). There didn't seem to be that many of them however so yeah they may need you in the future.

Not 100% sure what kind of work they do. I think they represent interest groups, waste disposal companies, construction firms etc. The lawyers probably help clients prepare and file for licenses and application for approval before certain activities can occur. That kind of thing. You can probably look at the environmental section of firms that speacilise in it and see what kind of cases they are working on etc.

All in all, I think it sounds quite interesting  xxx.

Well...if you like that kind of thing.

I was going to study it at uni but decided to stick to my original choice of Law xxx.
