Asian applicants 2014
Hey guys , my name is Chris confirmed for the course computer science . I'll start a thread for Asians ( Korea , japan , singapore , malaysia , china , Indonesia , etc. etc. ) that confirmed in hull university. I believe some of us will have a hard time to blend into the local culture or feeling awkward among others so maybe we can start somewhere and get to know each other before we move on further

I don't think you'll have a problem fitting in, I'm friends with a few people of Asian origin who haven't really had any problems fitting in. In freshers the DCS run a meet and greet session to get people talking to one another. I'll be starting the computer science course come september. I'm currently a foundation year student.
You'll be fine! I'm white, but I'd be more than happy to make friends with someone Asian, regardless. I'm 99% sure that's what everyone else will be doing, too.
