Accepting a firm offer the choosing not to attend.

Hi everyone, I have an unconditional offer from UCL, I was wondering what would happen if I accepted that offer but then didn't attend because I applied to a university abroad and I might choose to go to them instead. Would I have to pay the fees to UCL?

You don't have to pay your fees until October usually so you probably don't have to worry about that. Still you should definitely let the uni know if you don't plan on attending so that the spot can be offered to someone else. It's probably a good idea to contact UCL and double check.

You wouldn't have to pay UCL any fees so long as you never turned up :nah:

However, if you plant to do this, it's considered polite to let them know before A Level results day (14th August 2014) so that they can give your place to someone else
