I like the concept and the information provided on your website is very useful. I'm Dutch myself but living outside The Netherlands, so I found it very useful in particular having access to that info (tend to forget how things were after a while).

Your design is fine, but the way you laid out the information on the main page is a bit 'too busy', it's just too much to take in at one time. Maybe you can move some parts here and there and perhaps make the important content stand out, so we know what to read first (as of now, almost all content is the same font-size, maybe make the important content bigger in size).

Hi,

I'm finishing my A2 courses this year, and last year me and a friend decided to set up a website. It isn't as profitable as we thought it would be, but we've just put Adsense adverts on the site so hopefully it will get more profitable.

I'm looking for feedback on it at the moment. What do you think of the site? How useful are the reviews/interviews? What do you like/dislike?

Problems:

- Terrible design, hard to follow.
- Too many adverts. It just makes you look desperate and greedy.

Until you fix these issues, I wouldn't expect your site to become very popular at all to be quite honest. You seem to be purely in it for profits too, which is not a good way to start.

It would be alright if you weren't using bright green and red all over the place. Doesn't look professional. Choose more easy-going colors rather than childish primary colors which you find on infant's toys.

I'd just like to say - thank you very much for making that website. I have a strong interest in working in the Netherlands, and being English, this will be a great help to me.

From a professional point of view (I work as a web developer) the site looks good, gives the information clearly across.. I can't find anything wrong with it. I will add it to my site's blogroll.

http://www.davidcraddock.net is my personal website, where I put specialist tips and solutions to technology problems as I encounter them, so that other people can google for them and find answers.

It is a custom-tailored wordpress theme, with several plugins and some nice custom additions such as the cycling banner image.
As part of my coursework, I need to analyse the number of visitors visited my page and other stuff. I need you to go on my website and click on every page, button and link! It's nothing really but do this for me please! It's rubbish website lol!

I like the idea. One instant issue I had however was that the background images takes ages to load...

I tried this on both my halls internet and university internet and had the same issue in both places... maybe something worth checking out?

I don't like your website. It seems to me just an attempt to get people to click all your adverts and affiliate links..

Anyway. I redesigned my website recently if anyone wants to comment :p:

Your header is *massive*. I thought that first screen was some sort of home/splash screen, but it appears to actually just be your header :s-smilie:

The header is the grey bit.

The rest is not really a header, it's just the "title" of the website.

well whatever it is, it's massive - it means you have to scroll down to get to the actual content. Which falls subject to small font syndrome.

The font is a perfectly normal size. And you only have to scroll slightly, it's not as if there is a massive gap between things...
