Well, I guess it could be "The rule of the webmaster over the website" :/

    Hi everyone!

I've already been slated on here for the content on my website that I built with a few mates, but hey ho.

What do you think of the design?

    Cheers

Quite a clean design you have there. One thing i would change is remove the underlining on the navigation bar links, could improve the look.

    Here's my site

    Link - http://jailbreakfinder.com/

Be aware that part of it doesn't work correctly at the moment. For some reason you might find that the message "There are currently no jailbreaks available for your selected iOS version" comes up even though there is an entry in the database for it. It's quite a weird problem.

I really like the design on Stroke Nine; clean, simple and professional. However I didn't get chance to look at the other links you shared.

The header is a really low resolution image with an overlaid text title which is a low contrast and uses a rubbish font. It's also not centred in your wrapper.
You use too many text colours: blue is usually a poor choice for body text, as is the burgandy/red you're using elsewhere on article pages.
A five column layout on a 960 grid is hard to read. You have images in these columns happily overflowing onto other content.
    Various elements need no padding.
Your registration flow is a huge field which will really impact your signup rate. It has a radio button (!?) to confirm the terms of service, but no link to the terms itself.
Lots of elements need more padding.
Clicking on categories in the left hand navigation usually leads to a 404.

    My Website
Can you have a look at my website and tell me what you think. Review the content just the layout and the code that I wrote.

    You're supposed to guess!
I think it's bbc.co.uk - in which case, very good! But I'm interested in how your reading of the ICO guidelines influenced your decision making with regard to the new cookie implied consent form.

I'm going to be honest with you. The layout is essentially flawed with the choice in colour damaging the iris in the eyes. Also, I cannot believe you would leave the site without glasses.

    That is all.

You appear to have gone back in time and created a website from the early 2000's. Well done.
