SOAS or INALCO for languages?

Hi there, this is my first post. I am about to finish Y12 and am thinking of universities. I want to learn new useful languages at university, so I am currently debating between turkish or arabic. In the UK, there aren't many universities that will let me learn a language from scratch, which I can understand- I have booked an open day at SOAS and also a languages taster day there. The only other option I could find was INALCO in Paris. I am predicted an A in French A level, and I am perfectly happy with the idea of learning and living in France, so that would not be a problem. I was wondering if anyone had any advice/ experience of these universities, or perhaps others that would let me study turkish or arabic from scratch? Of course, I know that I could do a joint french degree, but, to be honest, I am just interested in the culture and the actual language, not the literature etc.
