Did this last year and people found it useful so thought I'd do it again!

Higher Reading:

Question 1: Sophie talking about work experience.

1) Sophie worked in a café because she looks cooking at home.
2) She was not allowed to wear a skirt
3) What made the owner angry? When customers entered in swimming costumes and when the workers arrived late to the café.
4) Tourists always asked for snails.
5) Sophie bought 2 kinds of meat, name 1: Rabbit or Lamb
6) Why did she buy the meat? For lunch/mid day meal
7) In the future Sophie wants to be a doctor.

Question 2: Louis and his winter sports holiday

1) Louis' grandma is 75.
2) His flights leaves Bordeaux at 11.45/quarter to midnight
3) What did he read on the plane? Write 2 details: Comics and Novels
4) He spent 2 weeks in Canada
5) What 2 things did the family do in the afternoon? Shopping/Sunbathing
6) Where did Louis have an accident? Ice rink

Question 4: Rene Dubois talking about crime

Answers (letters)

A In the area of St Marguerite there is not as much crime as there was in the past
E Some elderly people meet in the day to learn new skills and talk about the past
F There is affordable housing got homeless people in the area
G some unemployed people beg in the streets
J Olympique Marseille is the biggest club in France
K Rene would fine drivers who smoke in cars

(horrible question that one IMO)

3) Why does the headteacher say he has to pay pupils to attend? Nothing else works
4) How many pupils live with both parents? 1 in 5.

Hey this was fab 👌 exam went better than expected, I was wondering when you will be posting the listening as I'm really anxious about it? ☺️

Do you think ill get the mark if i only put she likes cooking? And also will i get the mark if i put "hurt her leg at the ice rink" or will i get a mark taken away for saying about her leg?

I also put because she likes cooking so I'm hoping that's worth a mark.. And I'm really worried about the ice skating one because the question was about 'where' he hurt himself, I didn't know if it was asking about the location, so the ice rink, or, part of his body, so his leg... I just put the ice rink but I'm scared now! I hope that'll they'll accept both!

Me too it was soo unclear! But has your teacher told you about that if the question asks for one detail and you give two you get zero marks? Im afraid that will happen to mine!

Wait- putting more than one answer when it only asks for one means you don't get the mark?! I was never ever told this and am now stressing out? Is this true for WJEC French ?
