Could you explain what the differences between the microsopes are?

The microscopes I have been told to learn is the Light Microscope, the Electron Microscope, TEM and SEM. Could you tell me what the differences are between them and two advantages and disadvantages of each? Thanks
Light Miscroscopes has a lower resolution due to the wavelength of light being shorter than that of an electron.

TEM
-Electron passes through the sample, thicker parts give a darker shade
-Samples must be thin
-2D image given
-Higher resoluton

SEM
-Electron is reflected off the surface of the sample
-Thicker samples can be used
-3D image given
-Lower resolution

Both SEM and TEM take place in a vacuum and so they cannot have living samples.
