It'll help if you expand out the parentheses on the RHS and multiply the whole equality by 3. Collect the terms that include bb , factorise bb out, and divide by it's coefficient thereafter.

You can factorize by taking a common factor of 3 out of the numerator and a out of the denominator, but that's pretty much it. That's also where your initial condition comes from (denom cannot be 0)
