Help! What is psychoanalysis aqa psya2

PSYA2 - if they ask a question on psychoanalysis, do I write about dream anaylsis and free association?
and can someone tell me about what is projective test? is that also part of psychoanalysis?

It really depends whether they ask you for one or two 'psychoanalysis therapies'. Dream analysis and free association are Freud's biggest therapies so use both if asked for two, or just one if you only need to state one.
Projection tests is basically using images to define a personality. So in this, a therapists shows a client a random picture and whatever comes to the clients mind first defines there supposed 'personality/unconscious'. The therapists (somehow!) can the analyse this.
