Investment Banking A-level grades beyond AAB

I'm about to sit A-Level exams and I've heard for investment banking (a career I'm interested in) your A-Level grades matter.

Would someone with A*A*A* have an advantage over my if I get A*AA?

I've got an offer from LSE for Bsc Econ so I know my Uni name will help slightly but do you need near perfect grades to get into IB?

Only a slight advantage yes. Key thing is to get the grades for your university, from there develop your personality and A-level grades won't matter as much so long as you at least meet the minimum.
