1.Would you say maths alevel is vital for a career in finance?

2.What are your thoughts on Economic History which LSE offer , is this a good degree for finance (due to no maths alevel) spoke to someone who did economic history at lse at now he is a private equity analyst at a large asset management firm?

3.What levels of maths do you need for a career in finance -gcse,basic etc.?



4.Can you tell me a bit about the real estate sector in asset management frims , what exactly do they do?

5.When your a graduate and you start can you choose which sector of the busines you operate in or is it a case of going wherever they put you?

Really tired but long story short...

1. No - but A Level Maths will help you get into top universities which will help for IB.

2. Absolutely fine because it is LSE.

3. Basic for M&A (IBD), bit more advanced for Trading, insane for Quantitative Analytics.

4. Can't comment...

5. You will be asked to apply for a division and then at some point choose within that division where to specialise in.

Nobody gives a **** about your degree if you're at a target and can link three words together.
