I'm an Year 11 students and I was wondering in regards of my A-Level topics if doing both English Literature and Language next year might be overly excessive?

is it separate? or are you doing combined a-level English language and literature?
I think it depends on the individual, if you have a passion for English then doing both language and literature shouldn't seem excessive
