How many hours of lectures per week?

I'm hopefully starting at Lancaster doing Law in September and I was just wondering how many hours a week are normally spent in lectures/ seminars?

Hey. I haven't done law so I'm not exactly sure. Its normally a couple of lectures a week per module, in some cases it can be one 2 hour lecture per week. Plus one tutorial/seminar per week.
This really depends on the lecturer though.
This website tells you about all the law modules available and what they involve, make sure you have a look if you haven't already. You can use the search function to find the other modules.

This tells you about the course, providing you are doing straight law.

Typically 12-25 hours of "contact" per week. That usually works out at about 10-12 hours of lectures, 1-4 hours of seminars and 0-8 hours of labs.

Towards the higher end for science-y subjects with labs, slightly less for more writing/research based, which have a few more seminars but less hours over all.
