student food shopping

Hi everyone. I'm a First year Drama student starting at the University in September. I'm moving from Leicester, and have no idea about where to shop for food and things. Obviously as a student, I'm on a tight budget till I can find a job to earn extra money. Does anyone know where the best value places for students to shop are? Quality of food? Best prices?

P.S I don't like pot noodles

I'm sure there's a lidl not far from the campus. That's gonna be your cheapest option. I've never thought pot noodles are the most cost-effective option to be honest.

Haha! I think I would be lucky to be able to afford a pot noodle in September!
There is a very large morrisons in one of the retail parks nearby the university which I think is where most students go  There is also a tesco metro in the centre of Lincoln. I live quite nearby to Lincoln already, so if you need any heads up about where things are, give me a shout
If you really want to save some money there are two Poundlands in Lincoln which are obviously cheap and Iceland is also good for student shopping.
