Seat Ibiza or Volkswagen Polo?

These are my top two choice of car i'm going to buy.

Which do you think would be more fun to drive? which would cost more on fuel, repairs and tax?

Same car mechanically, fuel, repair and tax won't make a difference.

What does differ is the initial purchase price where a VW is usually higher and you get less kit. They do claim that VWs will have a better residual value when it comes time to get rid of it but it usually doesn't take into account the cost of any added options which would have been free on the Seat.

Between these 2 I'd take the Seat for its better styling but if given a choice I'd buy an Alfa Romeo MiTo instead.
