Poem Don't'you Know...

It came out kicking and screaming
I even started up to look
Oh my baby, what happened to you in there?
Listen well you might still hear
While you're so young tell us your secret
You are precious, precious and rare

Whatever you think...

Echoes of William Blake
Sarcasm? Sorry if not and I'm suspicious. I wouldn't think you could ever have meant it in terms of quality but in style I wouldn't know for I've hardly read him. Anyone else?

No one else comes to mind. It's more the subject matter that reminded me of Blake. I think Infant Sorrow's the poem I'm thinking of.
Ah okay. Do you have any other thoughts?
