What grades did you get?

Biology - A
Maths - A
Spanish - A
English Lit - A

I didn't do the rest of the formatted stuff because I thought it was quite boring. I'm really chuffed! I'd convinced myself that I'd get all Bs and Cs! I managed to get an A in Spanish, which I was really worried about, and they're pretty high As so I should be a bit safer next year.
What grades did you get?

Did you meet your predictions?

Nope, don't care about history and it seems like a fair grade!

Taking on French, Sociology and ICT to A2

The fact that in the subjects I got A's in, I got nice comfortable A's in all of the modules.

What decisions have you made about any further study?
Kiing's College London to read Law.

Maths D2 I got 83/100 which is good for such a random module. My two History exams (Other unit was coursework) both gave me good A's. Disappointed by Bio 5- I got 50/100. This was crap considering I got 96/100 in Bio 4.

What decisions have you made about any further study?
Edge Hill to study English and Film

What made you pleased/disappointed by your results?
I was so happy I got an A in the Editorial Writing modual for English!
I was a bit disappointed that I got an E in one of the history moduals, as I thought I did really well in that - but it doesn't matter now:wink:

Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again?:
Not really in the past year, but I wish I had made a better job of my practical production for media in year 12.

Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to?
I looked at them first

What time did you find out your results?
I got an acceptance letter from Edge Hill at 8:30 and then went to school to get my results at 9:10

Did you feel nervous?:
I felt nervous before I got the acceptance letter from Edge Hill, but on my way to school I felt really excited as I already knew I'd been accepted

How do you feel now after knowing?:
I feel good. I knew I wouldn't be getting A's or anything like that, so at the moment I'm not feeling any jelousy towards those who have, like I did last year, the only thing that matters is that I've been accepted to the uni I want to go to and have got decent grades.
What grades did you get? - See signature.
Did you meet your predictions? - I had predictions?
If not, are you going to appeal? - No.
If you applied to uni, have you met the offer? - Not applied yet.
What decisions have you made about any further study? - Stay at 6th form. Drop chemistry and biology because they're boring.
What made you pleased/disappointed by your results? - Got a B in my french oral which I can't believe. It was worse than that seriously. Got 120/120 in french reading paper which the teacher said was really nasty and 100/100 in the stats paper. Didn't screw up C2 too badly. Can afford to get (high) C grades next year in maths and music and still get As at A2. And a low B for french.
Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again? - Not take 5 AS levels. Too much stress and in the end not really worth it.
Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to? - I looked.
What time did you find out your results? - Bout 10:10
Did you feel nervous? - I'll sound cocky, but not really. Was too tired from cycling to school early in the morning.
How do you feel now after knowing? - Relieved. Laughing at how I did better in french than biology and chemistry. Doesn't look like I'll have to resit anything although I might be forced to for french listening paper.
What grades did you get? Physics + History (A), Maths (B)
Did you meet your predictions? I exceeded them. Yay,
If not, are you going to appeal?
If you applied to uni, have you met the offer? Yep
What decisions have you made about any further study? Lancaster Theoretical Physics!
What made you pleased/disappointed by your results? Only person to get an A in Physics in my school.
Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again? Heh i suppose i would have revised more.
Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to? I cheated and looked on UCAS this morning, so i wasn't so nervous
What time did you find out your results? 10
Did you feel nervous? Of course!
How do you feel now after knowing? great
