Guessing it's due to the fact methanol can form hydrogen bonds with other methanol molecules meaning more energy is required to turn it into a gas.

oh dang.

well, D has the most bonds and looking at it more electrons "shared" so harder to break bonds.

also discuss its (homologous?) series making it an alcohol!
D is the answer because the OH at the end means its an alcohol thus meaning that it has hydrogen bonds. All the other ones only have van der Waals' forces therefore it has to be D because more energy is needed to break hydrogen bonds
