Judicial review (Need some help with the basics).

Since the lecturer that taught us judicial review did not provide power-point slides, I'm finding it hard to revise since all I am stuck with is outlines of the lectures and a pretty useless text book (Bradley & Ewing).

First off, what happened in the 1977 reforms to judicial review regarding application and remedies?

Secondly, what are Open and closed regimes in approaching "sufficient interest" and what are the arguments for them?
