I've just moved out of the Grenville Street halls for summer and thought I'd post some information for anyone who's moving in next year or considering choosing to live here, just so you know what to expect.
Good points:
- Situated in a great location: five/ten minute walk to Bold Street, Liverpool One, shops, bars, restaurants, Tesco, Sainsburys and a short walk to Uni of Liverpool and JMU. Even though it's in the city centre, it's on a quiet street next to Chinatown.
- Pretty courtyard.
- Very secure, you need your key fob to open most doors. The reception and security staff are also lovely and friendly.
- Big rooms with double beds, en suites and loads of storage space even under the bed. They're nicely furnished and just look nice.
- The kitchens in the 5 bedroom flats are huge, everything is brand new, there's two fridge freezers and enough cupboards for everyone, breakfast bar with stools, a big sofa, TV and loads of windows.
- It's generally quiet in the daytime which is great.
Bad points:
- There is literally nothing bad to say about these halls except that they are ridiculously warm, but it's not really much of a problem!
Anything else just ask x
