How to remove fake tan?

My fake tan started going a bit patchy so I decided I'll stop applying it, wait for it to go, then apply it with more care this time. It's taking forever to go though and seems to be going in certain places faster than other places - making it look even more patchy! Any tips to removing it quicker? And tips on applying it more evenly when it eventually all goes?

Try soaking in a hot bath and exfoliating gloves. Always exfoliate before applying fake tan too so it makes your skin smooth and reduces dry skin which causes fake tan to look patchy.
