Re: is anyone actually going to wolverhampton uni
Good luck to those who are studying at Wolverhampton University this upcoming September!
I attended one of their open days this year and boy was I disappointed...but that's my opinion (whereas others differ in this topic) and I'm sticking to it. That university is there for local residents and people should consider other options like Lincoln, De Montfort, Brighton, etc... -

Great!...not getting my work tho lolz :P
Whats the 1st year of MPharm like? I've heard from a student who's just finished year 1 that its just about getting everyone upto the same level and that year 2 is a massive jump?
He also said there was hardly any chemistry in year 1... I hope there is

I'm a second year Wolves student, studying Computer Science (transferred over from Web Computing).
Some of you first year SCIT students might've seen me in welcome week, I was one of those SCIT Helper people... Which was fun. Hope you all enjoyed the wonderful first week and are ready for lots of fun learning activities. -
Re: is anyone actually going to wolverhampton uniI've got a conditional offer from Wolverhampton but still debating whether to accept or not... Would you recommend it? as I haven't been to an open day there yet. (I'm doing law as well)(Original post by mistyblue91)
thanks for that strings, hey i went to the open day and i loved it one of the tutors that will be teaching me from september was lovely she made time for me when the was a big que and told me all about success rates and also said similar to you strings its what you make it.well i sent back me acceptence letter and after spending a good day there and looking round although i couldnt see the law school due to construction work lol. i do totally agree now iv been listening to opinions of a mere percentage of students some of which post in this thread and dont even go to wolves uni, i would have no hesitation in reccomending it and i would say dont knock it until you have your own experience there. After 10 mins my mind was made up the warm friendly atmosphere and nice staff made it a great day

Re: is anyone actually going to wolverhampton uni
I'm going to be studying Event and Venue Managment at the Walsall Campus. I chose This university as not only did i find the Campus less Oberwhelming that other universities, but the actual course seems more suited to what i want to do with my career, in most universities the Event Managment course was in the buisness section, which seemed to me like they would focus on more corprate events, whereas the course at Walsall was in the lesuire School, which seemed more appropriate for me.
