Do you mean

x22x+1=1\dfrac{x}{2}-\dfrac{2}{x+1}=1?

If so, just multiple both sides by the lowest common denominator, set to zero and solve like normal.

You could also get it all in terms of one big algebraic fraction and multiply from there if that's easier for you
