Poll results from the other thread so far; 30% believe that Arts is a soft-core subject that men should feel embarrassed to do. Are gender roles really so entrenched in society?

You have to remember that the people people voting on your thread come from the limited, self-selecting pool of TSR and so the poll won't be representative of society as a whole.

What's your obsession with STEM and A&H? People have different abilities, skills and qualities like for example I've got ability to understand literature and history but I don't with maths/science. There are two types of people at universities: those who want to make differences to the modern world and those who want to understand the differences in the modern world.
