Living with girlfriend at uni

Hey guys, I'm going to university this September and I'm in a long distance and long term relationship, she lives in Austria and would move to the city I'll be going to so we can be together. I have no idea how this would work. Would she be able to live in my student house in my second year? Or is that a stupid question? Anybody had any experience with this? Thank you
As long as she pays rent I don't see why anyone would object (assuming you have housemates.)

No, as then you won't be exempted from council tax.
Yeah if she wasn't a student you'd all have to pay council tax.
But then if she moved into a room with you and paid rent it could bring the price down for everyone, depending on how you worked it out, even if you had to pay council tax. Or you two could split the council tax between you and each pay half the rent for the room you're in.

Where there's a will there's a way!
