MSc Bioinformatics interview

I have an interview for the MSc in bioinformatics and theoretical systems biology next week (over Skype).

Anyone else had one? Any tips on choosing a paper to present - do they prefer something more genomic, or something structural? Theoretical or translational?

It went swimmingly. Interview was 5 min presentation, 5 or so minutes questioning on the my presentation and further probing into the paper presented, and 20 minutes talking about the program. I ended up with an unconditional offer, but declined because of cost.

The paper was on a new algorithm for predicting translocon membrane partitioning ... so more of a structural biology problem solved with programming and statistics (hidden markov models).
