University course question

Hi, i'm currently on my second year of A levels and planning to take a gap year and want to do economics in university. Currently doing maths stats A2, Chem A2, Bio A2 and I've just retaken Econ AS

I want to get into UCL or Warwick for economics but their offers are A* maths and 2 other As
I'm applying this year (taking gap year to study)
I'm planning to do the rest of econ A2 exams in my gap year by sitting private exams and maybe resit 1 or 2 maths exams to try and get A*

If i get my A for maths, A for biology but C for chemistry and A for AS economics this year, but after my gap year i end up finishing and getting a A overall for economics and A* for maths by retaking a maths exam or 2, will i still have a chance? will they take into account the new grades that i got for econ and maths or will they take into account my chemistry grade? I think i messed it up ((
