What to do over the summer holidays?

My GCSE exams are going to be finished this week and I am not really sure what to do over the summer holidays? I really want to do something productive with the time i have! So any suggestions??

Go out n get crunkkkkk
Get learning.

It really depends on what you want to do in the future. Would you be interested in work experience, say, or learning a new skill, or language? Do you need to save some money, by getting a job? Could you sign up to some youth programmes, like tall ships' races, or the national citizenship programme? Or you could simply read a book every day and get fit - all these things contribute to your character / prospects.

Read about whatever subjects you're interested in, make a start in learning some AS units, whatever.

You could develop your skills. You could develop a hobby or practice at something you enjoy doing. Another thing is perhaps do some traveling to new places or learning something completely new.

inb4 prepare for A-levels
Look up some topics which interest you and study them (just don't try and learn subjects you are going to do next year because you will be incessantly bored in lessons
Read (fiction or non-fiction)
Go for walks- long, long walks
I booked an expedition to Borneo doing environmental conservation work in that summer, perfect timing as it's a long summer and you don't really have any work to do! I also did some work experience too! ☺️

I actually went last summer (my summer after GCSE's ) but yeah I went with other people but didn't know anyone. I thought it was great because it gives you a bit of independence and also helps you decide whether you would like to go and take a gap year to do more travelling!

Non-academic is the way to go. Don't start thinking about ASs. You won't regret not starting early or anything.

Go out. Socialise. Hobbies. Fitness. Holiday.

Maybe get a work experience placement somewhere, formal or informal.
I would definitely recommend NCS (National Citizen Service). I did it last summer and it was by far the best decision I ever made in terms of spending my summer productively
Would ensure you use your time productively :yep: Either learn a new skill or find some volunteering to do :yep:
