Edexcel Unit 4 Biology (6BI04)

The book has stuff about haemoglobin, intra/interspecific competition, stages in death (e.g. Rigor Mortis)... Etc. But the specification doesn't mention these so I was wondering do we have to know it?

You definitely need to know about the Inta/Interspecific competition, and most definitely the stages of death. (they are both in the text book, albeit competition is a small paragraph). Try looking online for some more info if you can't find it or do past papers on them!

The only thing you really need to know about haemo is that it's a globular protein and can be effected in genetic diseases (like sickle cell anemia).

Good luck
