Edexcel Maths A-level dependency table
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=237097
Notes:
- The arrows show dependency one way. The arrow pointing from C1 to C2 shows that C2 is dependent on C1.
- If A is dependent on B, and B is dependent on C, then A is dependent on C. For example, C3 requires C2 and C2 requires C1 so C3 requires C1.
- If a module has no arrows before it (C1, S1, D1) then it is not dependent on any previous A level knowledge.

:O hello.

Oh yeah I had a quick question and I know its probably been asked before but is this how edexcel arrange your modules?

1) Highest grade for A level maths
2) Highest grade for A level further maths
3) Highest UMS for A level maths
4) Highest UMS for A level further maths

We appreciate your hard work!
Think I might've worked out what I've done wrong now, in the process of fixing this mistake
It works!

Far from it, but it's getting there! This is quite a steep learning curve to get straight away, my lord!
Has anybody here ever heard of Z-substitution? Every link I've read on the topic concerns the Weierstrass substitution. Can anybody else confirm that Z-substitution is indeed the Weierstrass substitution or at least some type of sub that turns strange functions into rational functions of polynomials?

Edit: Don't worry about it. I just found a stack exchange thread which says they are the same thing.

Congrats. Were you able to find a suitably challenging C4 or C3 question?

Thank you

Yup, I was given 5 lovely integrals, I've only solved 3 though, will get back to it when I get bored of revising.
Its funny how I class solving integrals as a break from revising maths :teehee:

-.-
For I ) I don't understand why the translation is 4 in the negative x and not 4k in the negative x.
Why don't you multiply the k back in?
I've highlighted what I put In pink .
And III) I don't have a clue :frown: ImageUploadedByStudent Room1402673855.243106.jpg
