but yeah..im sure chester must have some form of music scene. even if it is 15 yr olds who cant really play and think panic at the disco are amazing

Haha, well i was friends with the guys that ran it last year and basically we go out and get drunk in various rock orientated places round Chester.

Generally, last year anyway, it was Rosies for indie night on tuesdays and Metal pig on wednesdays.

City bar (mostly indie again) occasionaly and Off The Wall for some live music.

Also tried to arrange some live music in the union, but they were pretty obstructive about it (to the point where a band were willing to play for free yet it still didn't happen.)

hopefully it'll improve this year.

We also started up a Rock Society quiz team, just going round various pub quizzes having some drinks and fun.

There's 4 girls in charge this year. They'll be at the freshers fair and are the ones to speak to if anyone wants to know properly what their plans are.

I don't really know much about a chester scene, but the The Frog and Nightingale has regular 'alternative' bands on and Telford's Warehouse play live music.

There's also the rocsoc forum. Woefully underused last year.

Not sure if it's being controlled at the minute with the changeover in leadership but any questions can be asked there.

Yer you deffinaterly should, not sure if they have one or not, but if u want one jsut get in contact with the students union and they will point you in the right direction. Thats what i did with the baseball

Is there a choir? i aint a geek lol... iv just been in my school's choir all thru secondary schl an i reaaally enjoy it lol... an also... dya have to be good at sumthin to do it? cz i sooo enjoyed trampolining in school an think i could be quite good lol.. but then we moved sites an i never got the chance to do it again. bit sad really xxx

yeh they do have a choir... i had 3 friends who were in it this past year, they realy enjoyed it! and for the trampolining, i had a friend who had NEVER done it before and she joined, so youl be fine! they take all levels!
