Newbe please help

Hi there i wonder if someone can help me. I left school two years ago and due to having a long illness i was unable to get a good grade, in my GCSE History exam, and also need to restudy both my Maths & Science before taking gcse exams as i was not well enough to undertake the courses. Please could someone tell me what options are available to me to re-take the above and will i have to pay for these courses now being the age of 19. Thanks in advance :smile:

Hiya, not sure if you still want advice

You can study privately (teach yourself - maybe get a tutor) at home then pay for exams at a local school or college. Or if there's a college near you that will take you, you can study there, it might depend on the college but I think you have to pay a bit if you're 19 or over.

I suggest going to college now either studying a course or actual a-levels if possible. Where abouts do you live?
I suggest Newvic - a sixth form college helps many people.
