Kumar and Clark Clinical Medicine

Even though I'm only going into pre-clinicals this year. A friend (who is just starting her clinical years) strongly recommended buying Kumar and Clark - Clinical medicine. (Link : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0702027634/026-9843793-3422060?v=glance&n=266239&s=gateway&v=glance )

Many medical students are calling this the "bible" and so I just wanted to see everyones opinions before buying it.

I know there are lots of threads on not buying books before medical school and all that... before anyone says.

Also, is amazon the cheapest where I can find this book? Thanks in Advance:biggrin:
