Alopecia and dandruff

Hi guys,

Just a few days ago, i ran my fingers through my hair and found a circular bald patch, which indiactes alopecia areata. Past few days i've been losing more hairs and i'm pretty worried. I've also got however quite bad danduff as in large flakes and bumps on my scalp. I dunno whats causing it, any ideas?

I had something similar but it went away after some meds

Thanks, i've made an appointment for next Thursday (earliest available FML) but i've got itching and stuff too, what was your condition or diagnosis if you don't mind me asking?
