Thinking of doing my dissertation on gap years

Hi.

I've just completed second year on a tourism management degree and am now beginning to think about what to do my dissertation on. I want to do it on something I'm interested in and that's how I've came up with the idea of doing it on gap year opportunities, as this also relates to tourism.

At the same time, it's not really related to management and I'm not sure if it's broad enough to write 12000 words about.

I haven't got a dissertation supervisor yet so haven't really discussed it with anyone.

I'm open to any ideas or suggestions and I'd really appreciate any ideas any of you have.

It's just a gap year, or Gap Year if you must. Not a GAP year

I doubt it really matters, I just wanted it to stand out in the title! But whatever. I changed it anyway! Hope it makes some sort of a difference to your life
How about whether gap years improve employability? Or whether charity gap years are actually beneficial or it would be more beneficial to give the money and not go yourself?
