Maths A level A* question

Hi,

I'm currently doing full normal maths a level as well as AS further mathematics. As part of my AS further mathematics I am doing both S2 and M2. My question is whether either M2 or S2 could be used as one of my A2 normal maths modules and therefore count towards a maths A level A*.

For example, could the following modules be used for my maths A level:

C1
C2
C3
C4
M1
M2

Assuming I got more than 480 ums overall, would the highest two of c3, c4 and m2 be taken for the A* (I.e. 180 ums out of the best two of the three) or is it definitely just out of just c3 and c4 regardless?

Many thanks for any help.
I'm not sure which exam board you're with, but for OCR, the answer is yes, that combination ia possible.
Also, A* in regular mathematics is only based on C3 and C4.
