Don't understand the feeling I have atm. I am happy that we may sign De jong, on the other hand, Pardew will coach all the Ajax out of him and turn him into a defensive winger :frown:

Pardew stated he wanted English players this summer yet we turn down Micah Richards for £2-3m. He said on Twitter to a Toon fan he'd half his wages to get first team footy. (£80k - £40k, Our Average Wage) Absolute Joke.

Also Marveaux, HBA, Shane Ferguson & Jonas have all been sent to train with the U21 squad. :facepalm2:

Cracking transfer window so far.

In: Cabella, De Jong, Colback, Perez and most likely Janmaat plus Riviere.

All that's really needed now is a striker, a CB for when Yanga leaves and I'd personally like a conventional winger.

Been a great summer so far like. Agree with above in that, assuming we get Janmaat and Riviere in, all we really need is a striker and CB. I'd want to see Yanga stay personally but I'm probably alone in that.

Great that we're getting the deals done early as well. Proper daft when you're bringing people in at the end of August.

My team would be:

Cisse/Riviere
Cabella----Marveaux/Di Jong-------HBA
Tiote----Sissoko
Haidara----cb---cb-----Janmeet
Krul

We also have Sammy who should not be forgotton and is good backup.

Obviously, the team will be vastly different: no HBA, no Marveaux and Sissoko will play RW.
