Contactless debit card, anyone?

So, I have just received an email from my bank asking whether I want a contactless debit card.

I am wondering anyone has experience of using contactless debit cards?

I hate them.
Lose your card and the finder gets about 4 goes of £20 a time before it stops working.

Yeah they're great. Speed things up no end - bars/coffee places especially.

Thanks. I've heard mixed things about them.
I got a TSB card and it's got it. They said it works in McDonalds so I was tempted to try it but the McDonalds I went to didn't have the right thing for it. I think it's a good idea but to be honest for most things under £20 I use cash anyway.

This is useful to know, thanks.

Having spoken to a few friends and looked at Natwest's (my bank) info on this, it seems that ever so often, you need to use chip and pin.
Have one but so far haven't used it as the places I frequent don't have the facility.
