How do you know if you failed an exam?

Hi,

I have never failed an exam/module, but I am just curious as to how I would know if I failed an exam.

Would I be sent a letter in advance letting me know that I failed or will I have to wait til results day?

Please let me know

well...you would have to wait till results day to find out. I know when i failed an exam simply because i am able to use my common sense to estimate my marks(This actually works for me)

I did well in my January modules, but I am just worried about a June module
